FREE VS PRO
TileForge has two tiers: Free (forever, no card) and Pro ($12/month or $9.60/month billed annually). Both let you build all three project types — Tileset, Sprite, Voxel — and use every tool in the editor.
Free includes: 1 project, canvas sizes 8²–32² (voxel up to 16³), 4 frames × 2 layers per project, 2 exports per day, 25 MB storage, community support.
Pro adds: unlimited projects, canvas sizes 8²–512² (voxel up to 64³), 64 frames × 16 layers, unlimited exports, 10 GB storage, ZIP bundle export, and email support.
Free is intentionally a sampler — one project, low caps everywhere. The reasoning is to let a curious visitor build one asset start-to-finish (any of the three types) so they can see the full flow, then upgrade for any real workload. See the /pricing page for the side-by-side matrix and the FAQ.
Two operator-controlled overrides can flip these numbers at runtime: (1) BETA promo — when the admin turns it on, every new signup is granted N days of free Pro and paid checkouts are disabled (everyone on Pro for free for the window); (2) Free Mode — when the admin disables BOTH payment methods, every user becomes effectively Pro forever, the billing page goes away, and every "Pro" mention drops from the UI. The exact toggles live on the admin Site panel.
